“Beauty is the source of all things. . . . It is the great creating cause which bestirs the world and holds all things in existence by the longing inside them to have beauty . . . It is the longing for beauty which actually brings them into being.”                              — Pseudo-Dionysius the Areopagite, The Divine Names(6th c.)

IMG_4390In the midst of wars, rumors of wars and increasing violence in our world, I have no words and seek only to offer snippets of beauty that bear witness to creation and Creator.  I am a sister in the Episcopal Order of Saint Helena and a priest of The Episcopal Church.  Any opinions or words offered in these pages do not necessarily represent the church, the order or any other group or organization.

I am always energized by the pictures, each morning when I open my e-mail. But I particularly like “Bird on a Bowl” and would like to make a copy of it to frame. Please advise.
