We were just commenting after Evensong at the seminary yesterday that it’s so great when Daylight Savings Time has ended, and the light is truly different in the early evening. We had had rain showers off and on all day, with a very active sky. During Evensong we had sharp shafts of warm light shining down on the cross outside the chapel, and a beautiful sunset when we walked out afterwards. It’s so great to connect – across all of the states between us – over the beauty of the vesper light.

Yes, I know the light you speak of. It is different here in GA, a beauty of its own.
Jane, as deeply spiritual and beautiful as ever. What an unexpected delight to connect with you from just across town. Best, Beverly
Hi, Beverly! I love that each of us can enjoy the light in her own place.
