Isn’t that the truth?! Whoever did this ironwork must have enjoyed “making it different”.
As a child, I used to spend time tracing with my finger over and over any scrollwork I could find—hoping that my hand would learn to know how to flow like that to reproduce graceful scrolls with a pencil or paint.
